While pregnant I felt a deep connection with my mother and grandmother, but also my daughter and (possible) grandchildren/grandaughter. We are all connected through time, genes, and pregnancy. To think we started to exist even before our mothers were born: our mother's eggs (50% of what we are) are created inside our grandmother's womb. I find this stuff mind-blowing and heartwarming. I visualised this thought as an endless river.
